Hospital Preparedness for Managing Coronavirus

CAE Healthcare recently offered a COVID-19 webinar to assist medical and hospital personnel around the world with facility preparedness, safety protocols, and patient management. Developed by the CAE Healthcare Academy's clinical education experts, this webinar is intended to train healthcare providers and public health professionals to manage a suspected case of coronavirus.

This webinar is focused on:

- Infection control practices (ICP)
- Proper identification of coronavirus
- Implementation of proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Conducting safe patient triage and containment
- Addressing complications

This webinar is being offered in conjunction with a newly-designed COVID-19 Simulated Clinical Experience (SCE), available for download here

The SCE reinforces team-centric procedures for effective and safe infection control in the face of a critical healthcare event and is focused on six learning performance measures that are central to coronavirus preparedness and patient management.
